Who qualifies?
You live permanently outside Norway, are visiting as a cruise passenger or tourist, and are taking the goods home with you.
Minimum amount
Minimum NOK 315 per store. Must be in one transaction in one store.
1. Look for the Tax Free logo
Most stores in Sandens, Markens gate and Sørlandssenteret participate in the scheme.
2. Ask for a tax-free form
Show your passport at the register. The form shows your refund — typically 11–19% of purchase price.
3. Note for cruise passengers
As a cruise passenger, you cannot get the customs stamp while still in Norway. Most cruise lines process refunds via the ship or at your home port — ask your cruise line before you shop.
4. Collect your refund
Via Global Blue or Planet refund points at major airports, or through your cruise line on disembarkation day.
